Attention: the list of optimal subjects will be expanding time to time as we see the interest of the students and the theme of thesis.
Complex exam
Conditions for registration: Passed the foreign language requirements and 120 credits from the first 4 semester (exams and research).
Date of the complex exam: the end of June – the beginning of July
Subjects of the complex exam:
Theoretical part: (it can be repeatable in the exam period once time from the failed subject, the exam is written and oral)
- General research and methodology
- Economic analysis methods
Dissertation part: (it cannot be repeatable in the given exam period): 15-25 pages summary of the research, which includes the results of the literature research, the hypotheses and the potential research model.
Evaluation of the complex exam: The theoretical part and the dissertation part will be evaluated in separated on scale 1-5. The final evaluation of the complex exam has four different levels: summa cum laude, cum laude, rite, insufficient. If the complex exam will not be successful, the PhD cannot continue.
Publications
It is necessary to publish minimum 4 conference paper. We preferred those conferences which have an international scientific committee and 2 of them are not organised in Hungary. Papers should be reviewed full conference paper which is published in a Proceeding with ISBN number. Additionally need minimum 4 articles in scientific journals which have well known indexes (Scopus, etc). Besides that it would be a book, a chapter of a book, international conference abstract, research reports which published.
